Eastern and Western Fields are part of the Bearcamp Valley Conservation Area in Tamworth. Western Field was acquired in 2011, and Eastern Field in 2015. The properties encompass over 5,000 feet of frontage along the Bearcamp River and include a mix of riparian and wetland habitat and fields, which are managed as pasture and for hay.
Directions & Parking
The property is located along Route 25 across from the Emerson Natural Area in Tamworth. The property currently does not have an established parking area or kiosk.
From LRCT HQ in Center Harbor:
- Head through downtown Center Harbor, and turn left onto Route 25
- Continue straight for 11.2 miles.
- The property will be on your left. Access to the property is through a mowed trail at the easternmost extent of Eastern & Western Fields.
