Blanchard Island has two small beaches and more than 1,000 feet of shore frontage. The island is covered with a mixture of northern hardwoods and softwoods and offers a short trail to stretch your legs on. Red Hill, the Ossipee Mountains, and the Sandwich Range are visible from the island.
Paddle Map
LRCT has created a waterproof paddle map that features Blanchard Island, along with four other island properties.
Island Access
There is a narrow beach located on the northern end of the island where approximately 2 – 3 canoes or kayaks can land. Please keep in mind there is no dock, so powerboat operators should anchor and wade ashore.
