In addition to volunteering, there are many ways to support LRCT’s stewardship activities on conserved lands.
One way is to donate needed supplies to help our volunteers carry out stewardship projects. Our “wish list” includes:
- pruning saw
- string trimmer (gas)
- light lawnmower
- digital camera
- sighting compass (in bearings)
- Garmin GPSMAP 64 GPS Unit
Contact LRCT to let us know if you are interested in making a donation of supplies. Please provide a description of the item you wish to donate and we will follow up with you if it is an item we will be able to put to use in support of stewardship activities.
Donate Professional Services
Another way is to donate your professional services towards a priority LRCT stewardship project, such helping with a trailhead construction project by donating your time and equipment if you are a contractor.
Contact LRCT to let us know if you are interested in making a donation of professional services. Please provide a description of the types of service you would be able to donate and we will follow up with you if we will be able to utilize your services in support of stewardship activities.
Donate to a Stewardship Endowment Fund
In addition, we have established a number of long-term stewardship funds for conserved lands; donations towards these stewardship endowment funds, from which a percentage is withdrawn annually and directed towards LRCT’s priority stewardship projects, are greatly appreciated. Please contact LRCT President Don Berry (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Land and Stewardship Director David Mallard (email@example.com) if you are interested in learning more about donating to a stewardship endowment fund.
If you make a donation of supplies, professional services, or funds for stewardship, you will receive a letter acknowledging this donation for tax purposes.
Thank you for your support of LRCT’s stewardship efforts!
