Winter Access
Looking to get out for a walk or hike on a snowy day? Below are LRCT properties that have parking areas that are maintained during the winter. Please be aware that the parking areas are limited during this time.
Available Parking Areas During the Winter:
- Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area: Only the upper hiker parking area on Ossipee Park Road and the lower parking area on Route 171 are maintained.
- Center Harbor Woods: Only the Center Harbor Neck Road parking area and the LRCT Headquarters parking area are maintained.
- Cotton Hurd Conservation Area: Only the parking area with LRCT’s kiosk is maintained.
- Fogg Hill Conservation Area
- Homestead Forest Conservation Area
- Mt. Morgan and Mt. Percival, Squam Range, Burleigh Land LP CE: Only the Mt. Morgan and Cotton Mtn. parking areas along Route 113 and the Brooks Fisher parking area on Perch Pond Road are maintained. For inquiries, please contact the Squam Lakes Association.
- Red Hill Conservation Area: Only the lower lot located on Red Hill Road is maintained.
