Workday at Little Sugarloaf Mountain

About This Event:

Our AmeriCorps members would love some help relocating an existing trail at Little Sugarloaf Moutain. The trail work includes heavy tree and sapling removal using hand saws, loppers, and some good old-fashioned hand pulling. The goal of this workday is to hike to the Blue Trail (approximately 2 miles) on the property and relocate an existing trail. If you cannot make it, do not worry because we have more Wednesday Workdays coming up! We look forward to working with you!

What to Bring:

Snacks and lunch, plenty of water, bug spray, sunscreen, closed-toed shoes, and a positive attitude! In addition if you have your own pair of loppers or a hand saw, that would be great to bring along too!

Event Details:

Wednesday, August 15, 2018, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The shift does not require 7 hours. You can work for however long you would like. We may finish the trail early depending on how many volunteers we have!  Meet at Wellington State Park trailhead in Bristol, NH following the Elwell trail.
