Tree Removal Workday at Tewksbury Brook Preserve

About This Event:

Join our AmeriCorps Members for a volunteer workday, helping to remove trees at Tewksbury Brook Preserve. The goal of this workday is to widen a large section of the trail. The work includes heavy tree and sapling removal using hand saws, loppers, and some good ole-fashioned hand pulling. Youth volunteers are welcome with adult supervision. Please be advised that the physical work is demanding.

What to Bring:

Volunteers should bring a snack and lunch, plenty of water, sunscreen / bug spray, work gloves, and a positive attitude! If you have your own pair of loppers or hand saw that would be great to bring along too!
