About This Event:
Our AmeriCorps members would love some help removing invasive plant species at Sewall Woods. We will be working to remove Non-oriental Bittersweet, Japanese Knotweed, and Garlic Mustard just to name a few! If you cannot make it, do not worry because we have more Wednesday Workdays coming up! We look forward to working with you!
What to Bring:
Snacks and lunch, plenty of water, bug spray, sunscreen, closed-toed shoes, work gloves, and a positive attitude! In addition if you have your own pair of loppers, hand saw, or weed wrench that would be great to bring along too!
Wednesday, October 3, 2018, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The shift does not require 7 hours. You can work for however long you would like. We may finish the trail early depending on how many volunteers we have! Meet at the trail head, directions are posted below.
