The Lakes Region Conservation Trust, in collaboration with the Dan Hole Pond Watershed Trust (DHPWT), invite you
To a celebration at the Charles Norman Munroe Preserve to recognize and thank the people whose dedicated efforts have recently made possible the permanent conservation of 177 acres in Ossipee.
The Munroe Preserve is owned by DHPWT and protected by a conservation easement held by LRCT, and includes almost two miles of frontage along the Pine River with 28 acres of wetlands, and abuts the 3,244-acre Pine River State Forest, thus adding to a magnificent wildlife corridor.
Join us to explore the trails, check out the wildlife habitat, and hear about how DHPWT is sustainably managing the forest.
There will be light refreshments followed by a guided 2-mile snowshoe hike led by LRCT Conservation Easement Steward, Leah Hart, and Dan Hole Pond Watershed Trust Vice President and Forester, Tim Nolin.
