We are excited to announce a collaborative volunteer effort between the Lakes Region Conservation Trust and the Squam Lakes Association (SLA)!
Join the Lakes Regions Conservation Corps members for a morning of trail work out at Center Harbor Woods Conservation Area. We will focus on removing blowdowns, clearing branches that encroach within the trail corridor, and brushing in portions of the trail where the path is unclear.
Center Harbor Woods Conservation Area is owned and conserved by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust and further protected by a conservation easement held by the Squam Lakes Conservation Society and a backup easement held by the Town of Center Harbor.
As always, this work is weather dependent. Should any changes to plans arise, SLA will provide updates. We encourage help from volunteers who love the outdoors, enjoy hands-on conservation work, and are excited to work with SLA’s LRCC members!
Meet at the SLA, located at 534 US Rt. 3 in Holderness. We head to the respective trailhead from SLA.
What to Bring:
Volunteers should bring appropriate clothing, water, and food.
