Join us on Thursday, July 12th at 9:00 am as we lead participants on a morning paddle on Squam Lake followed by a bring-your-own picnic lunch at the Jimmy Point Preserve.
John Oliver LRCT Guide and Property Adopter, and Dave Mallard LRCT Lands and Stewardship Director, will lead participants for a paddle on Squam Lake to tell the story of the natural features of Squam as well as the interesting history of the Jimmy Point Preserve, a 6.3-acre property which includes 1,850 feet of shoreline and two small islands now owned by LRCT. Participants will have the opportunity to get out of their kayaks to stretch, swim, and eat a bag lunch before returning back at approximately 1 pm.
Participants will need to bring their own kayak and life jacket. Additional trip details including directions to the meeting location will be sent to those who register. Registration for this program is required and participation will be limited.
