Guided Paddle: Jimmy Point

LRCT Guided Hikes and Paddles
Guided Paddle to Jimmy Point
Friday, August 6th 2021

Join us on Friday, August 6th, at 8:30 AM as we lead participants on a morning paddle on Squam Lake followed by a short walk and bring-your-own picnic lunch at the Jimmy Point Preserve. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about LRCT’s conserved lands, wildlife, and history along the way.

Dave Mallard, LRCT Lands and Stewardship Director, and Micaelie O’Hare, LRCT Stewardship Support and Outreach Coordinator, will lead participants for a paddle on Squam Lake to tell the story of the natural features of Squam as well as the interesting history of the Jimmy Point Preserve, a 6.3-acre property which includes 1,850 feet of shoreline and two small islands owned by LRCT. Participants will have the opportunity to get out of their kayaks to stretch, swim, and eat a bag lunch before returning back at approximately 1 pm.

Registration: Registration for this program is required and participation will be limited to 10 participants. Please register by sending an email to LRCT Stewardship Support and Outreach Coordinator, Micaelie O’Hare at and include the following information:
