Wildlife Tracking Excursion

Get ready to connect with New Hampshire’s wildlife on a 2-mile round-trip wildlife tracking hike at the Pine Hill Conservation Area led by LRCT AmeriCorps member Rebekah. On this excursion, we will be keeping an eye out for animal tracks and various other signs of wildlife in the area. We will be covering some basic animal tracking techniques such as track identification and gait/behavior interpretation. Expect an easy to moderate hike of 2 miles with frequent stops. 

Registration: Registration is required for this event. Please complete our Google Form by clicking the “Sign Up” button below. You will receive a confirmation email, which may take 1-3 days.

Bring/Wear: Bring water and snacks for the morning. Wear hiking boots/appropriate trail footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. Optional: tape measure, tracking field guide, and a small magnifying glass. Hiking poles, bug spray, and sunscreen are recommended.

Cost: All LRCT guided events are free

Dog Policy: To ensure the safety and comfort of participants, we are not able to accommodate dogs on our trips.

Cancellation: In the event of inclement weather, you will be notified of the cancellation via email by 5:00pm Friday, September 22nd.
