Join LRCT’s AmeriCorps members and staff to help improve trail drainage on the Whitten Trail at the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area! Due to the trail’s grade, flowing water and snowmelt have caused erosion issues on this trail that passes through the historic Whitten cellar holes. We’ll implement grade reversals and install drainage structures to combat this issue.
What to Bring:
- Work gloves
- Proper footwear and work attire
- Water and snacks
- Bug spray/head net
- Tools will be provided by LRCT
