Trail Maintenance on Mt. Roberts Trail
Join our Lakes Region Conservation Corps (LRCC) members at the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area to help with erosion control efforts on the Mount Roberts trail. LRCC members will help volunteers create and maintain reinforced water bars and check dams. The hike up to the site is roughly a 1/4 mile. We will provide the necessary tools.
What to Bring:
- Work gloves
- Water, lunch, & snacks
- Insect/tick spray and sunscreen
- Long pants/hat
- Close-toed shoes
Times:
- 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Join us in the morning, afternoon, or all day! LRCT AmeriCorps members will meet you by the pavilions next to Shannon Pond.
