Let the Earth Month celebrations continue! Join us from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, May 1st to help plant red oak, buttonbush, and silky dogwood saplings at the Sewall Woods Conservation Area. After a significant invasive species removal effort, we seek to suppress invasive species regrowth and improve native species diversity by supplementing forest regeneration with saplings from the New Hampshire State Forest Nursery.
What to Bring:
- Water
- Snacks if needed
- Work/garden gloves
- Proper footwear and work attire
- Tools will be provided by LRCT, but participants are welcome to bring their preferred trowel or digging tools
Where to Meet:
Volunteers will meet at the Sewall Woods parking area on Clow Road.
