The Lakes Region Conservation Trust is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the conservation of the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area in Moultonborough! Join us this summer on one of our guided hikes to explore this beautiful conserved land!

Join us at 9:00 am on Thursday, July 28th to learn about the importance of old growth forests. Dr. Rick Van de Poll will lead this walk and talk to one of the patches of old growth forest located near the Carriage House and talk about the old growth forests located within the Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area.
Registration: Registration is required for this event. Please complete our Google Form by clicking the “Sign Up” button below. You will receive a confirmation email, which may take 1-3 days.
Additional Information
Bring/Wear: We ask that participants wear sturdy footwear for uneven terrain. Bring water, snacks, and dress appropriately for the weather. You may consider bringing insect repellent and sunscreen.
Cost: All LRCT guided events are free
Dog Policy: To ensure the safety and comfort of participants, we are not able to accommodate dogs on our trips.
Cancellation: In the event of inclement weather, you will be notified of the cancellation via email by 5:00pm Wednesday, July 27th.
