Lace up your hiking boots for this 2-mile hike along the rocky ridge of Rattlesnake Island Preserve led by LRCT’s AmeriCorps members.
LRCT Volunteers will transport participants by boat out of Alton to the Rattlesnake Island Preserve dock. We will then embark on the roughly 2-mile round-trip hike, taking in the island’s beautiful views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding landscape. The hike is rated moderate-strenuous.

Please note that due to our limited dock space, all participants are required to join our boat ride over to the island. Please keep in mind, participants will need to stay with the group for the duration of this excursion due to the location.
