Join us for a scenic guided paddle on Squam Lake to Jimmy Point Preserve in Sandwich. LRCT Land and Stewardship Director Dave Mallard, will lead participants on this paddle and tell the interesting history of the Jimmy Point Preserve, a 6.3-acre property which includes 1,850 feet of shoreline and two small islands owned by LRCT. Participants will have the opportunity to get out of their kayaks to stretch, swim, and eat a bag lunch before returning back at approximately 12 pm.
Registration: Registration is required for this event. Please complete our Google Form by clicking the “Sign Up” button below. You will receive a confirmation email, which may take 1-3 days.

Canoes/Kayaks: Participants are expected to bring their own canoes/kayaks and personal flotation devices. We cannot accommodate stand-up paddleboards on this trip.
Bring/Wear: Canoe/kayak and paddle(s); personal flotation device (life jacket); plenty of water; snacks/lunch. Dress appropriately for the weather; bring raingear/warm layers if needed and appropriate footwear for paddling. You may also consider bringing: sunscreen; bug repellent; waterproof bag for your supplies.
Note: Participants on LRCT paddling excursions are required to wear a personal flotation device (life jacket) during the excursion.
Cost: All LRCT Guided Events are free to all.
Children’s Participation: We cannot accommodate young children on this paddle trip. Please check in with us in advance if you are considering bringing older children on this guided excursion, to ensure the trip is appropriate for their skill level.
Dog Policy: To ensure the safety and comfort of participants, we are not able to accommodate dogs on our trips.
We ask that if you sign up please plan on attending the full length of the event. Because space is limited, please notify mohare@lrct.org or call the office at (603)253-3301 three days before the event if you are unable to attend so that we can extend the opportunity to others. Thank you!
