Birding at Knights Pond

 May 20 – 21, 2022

Join us for a guided birding hike around the Lakes Region’s most pristine and unique ecological areas, Knights Pond! Join LRCT Trustee, Rhys Bowen, on either May 20th OR May 21st on a hike around the pond as you look and listen for birds during their spring migration. 

This is an easy/moderate hike and is approximately 2.8 miles. 

Registration is required. Space is limited. Please register by completing one of the sign-up forms below. You will receive a confirmation email that may take 1-3 days to appear in your inbox.

Cost: All LRCT guided events are free

Children’s Participation: Please check in with us in advance if you are considering bringing young children on a guided excursion to ensure the trip is appropriate for their skill level.

Dog Policy: To ensure the safety and comfort of participants, we are not able to accommodate dogs on our trips.

Bring/Wear: We ask that participants wear sturdy, waterproof footwear for uneven terrain. Bring water, snacks, and dress appropriately for the weather. You may consider bringing insect repellent and sunscreen. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars!
