LRCT closed on the Mount Pleasant property after reaching the project fundraising goal of $276,500. This figure included the purchase price of the land as established by an appraisal, transaction costs, and funds that were added to LRCT’s Stewardship Fund, which is used to support the perpetual stewardship, monitoring, and defense for LRCT’s owned conservation lands and conservation easements.

Thank you to the generous individuals, families, and organizations in Tuftonboro, Wolfeboro, and elsewhere who have provided extraordinary support for the project!  We are particularly grateful for a $25,000 gift from the Land Bank of Wolfeboro-Tuftonboro and a $75,000 grant from the NH Land & Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP).
