Donald S. Berry

President Tuftonboro
Don Berry has been the President of the Lakes Region Conservation Trust since 2006. He previously served as a member of the LRCT Board of Trustees for 14 years. He formerly practiced law in Boston, is a graduate of Trinity College, and has a law degree from Yale Law School.

Philip Croteau

Phillip M. Croteau

Land and Recreation Manager Sandwich
Phil was hired as LRCT’s Land and Recreation Manager in February 2024. He is primarily responsible for carrying out stewardship tasks on LRCT’s fee-owned properties, including overseeing seasonal AmeriCorps members and LRCT property monitors. Phil has previously served as an AmeriCorps volunteer himself, with the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust through the Maine Conservation Corps Environmental Steward program. Before his AmeriCorps term, Phil spent 3 years working as a steward of Central Park’s North Woods in New York City. He graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Policy from Rutgers University in 2018. You can find Phil fly fishing throughout the Northeast, backpacking in the White Mountains, or sampling some of the area’s local food.

Diana Hart

Diana M. Hart

Office Manager Moultonborough
Diana joined LRCT in May of 2022. She coordinates the daily administrative duties and program support for our staff at our headquarters in Center Harbor. She has supported many other non-profit organizations and has been in public service since 1997 as an educator. She has a Masters in teaching with Technology and a B.S in Psychology. Diana can often be spotted behind her camera photographing all her family's boating, hiking, and outdoor adventures.

David R. Mallard

Land and Stewardship Director Sandwich
Dave joined LRCT in August 2012. He oversees the Stewardship program and the management of the Trust’s Conservation Areas and Preserves. Before arriving at LRCT, Dave was the Stewardship Director at York Land Trust (ME) and worked on land conservation projects with the Mt. Agamenticus to the Sea Conservation Initiative. Before that, Dave was a Biologist with Maine Audubon and an educator and guide with the Appalachian Mountain Club, Adirondack Mountain Club, the University of New England, and the Vermont State Parks. Dave holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Vermont and a Master’s of Science in Conservation Biology from Antioch University New England. In his spare time, he enjoys studying natural communities and wildlife habitats while hiking, paddling, and skiing.

Matthew D. Morris

Conservation Easement and Data Specialist Tilton
Matt joined LRCT in May 2021 and oversees more than sixty properties protected through conservation easements. By working with private landowners, municipalities, and other organizations, Matt ensures these lands are used for conservation purposes in perpetuity. Before arriving at LRCT, Matt served through AmeriCorps at Sudbury Valley Trustees. He holds a B.S. in Wildlife and Conservation Biology with a minor in Geospatial Analysis from the University of New Hampshire. Outside of LRCT, you can find Matt hiking, reading, or playing video games.

Micaelie O'Hare

Micaelie J. O’Hare

Stewardship and Outreach Coordinator Remote
As Stewardship and Outreach Coordinator, Micaelie creates and updates various maps and outreach materials, organizes LRCT’s Guided Excursion programs, and assists with stewardship projects and communications. Before joining the staff in late 2020, Micaelie served as a Conservation Land Steward (AmeriCorps position) with LRCT in 2019 and then as a seasonal Land Steward at the Southeast Land Trust of NH (SELT). She graduated from Plymouth State University with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy and a minor in Adventure Education. Micaelie enjoys hiking, paddling, working on various crafts, and tending to her many houseplants.

Nadene F. Page

Membership and Database Coordinator Ossipee
Nadene joined LRCT in December 2022. As Membership and Database Coordinator, Nadene maintains the CRM and processes gifts when they arrive. Nadene serves as a secretary and board member of Ossipee Mountains Habitat for Humanity and comes to Lakes Region Conservation Trust with an administrative career in the real estate field. Raised on the seacoasts of Maine and New Hampshire, Nadene grew up respecting and loving the outdoors and all things nature. She has a strong passion for environmental preservation, maintenance and restoration of wildlife habitats. Nadene has three grown sons and now lives in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire with her husband, Jim. In her spare time, she spends time with her family and friends enjoying all of the many outdoor activities New England has to offer.
